Historical description:

The linen shirt was the main item of soldier's underwear in the first half of the XIX century.
The design of a shirt was traditional. The piece of a canvas bent half-and-halfas as a basis of shirt. Sleeves and a collar were sewn to this main part.

Historical sources:

During the reconstruction of a design of this linen russian soldier shirt we used materials of researches of the known historian and reenactor I.Ulyanov. And we also used the Russian soldier's shirt which has remained in State Historical Museum in Moscow as an example.

Features of a design:

Russian soldier shirts are made of a natural linen canvas, which has the most similar pattern to the samples which were produced in the first half of the XIX century.

All seams are made by sewing machine, but they are executed in such a manner that can be easily replaced on manual seams. That will give to historical clothes special charm.
